Naomi (1984, Alkmaar) has been a graphic designer and lifestyle illustrator for over 20 years with Dutch-Caribbean roots. She lives with her husband and little daughter in Purmerend and works as a freelancer. After going through a tough period, painting got started. She could express all her emotion and creativity here, and the inspiration is endless, namely the Caribbean. Mixed media such as acrylic paint, Aquadrop, neon ink, and gold foil run like a red thread through this collection. The contrasts and glimmers that arise take you straight to the island of Curaçao with its beautiful nature & colorful culture.
